Weather forecaster told about frosts leaving Moscow from Wednesday
The frosts that came to the Moscow region last weekend will go away from Wednesday, September 25. This week, on Saturday and Sunday, precipitation is expected. This was reported to "Izvestia" on September 23 by the head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov.
"Frosts will go away, already on Wednesday they will not be. Tomorrow morning are still possible in the east of the region, but it will be the last frosts. And then, in the week, starting from Wednesday [will begin] gradual preparation for the change in weather, which will happen at the weekend. We expect rain at the weekend," he said.
The forecaster warned that from Wednesday a significant drop in pressure is predicted in Moscow and the Moscow region. It is also expected to strengthen the wind of southern directions, gusts of which may reach 12-15 meters per second.
The harbingers of weather changes that will occur over the weekend will be rains without a significant drop in temperature, Shuvalov added.
Earlier, on September 21, the scientific head of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that the weather in central Russia will be favorable until the end of September, so we should expect Indian summer in October.
