Regions have prepared for the heating season by 75-95%
The level of readiness of the regions for the heating season 2024/2025 ranges from 75 to 95%. This was reported to Izvestia by regional housing and utilities authorities. The editorial board sent inquiries to all subjects of the country, and more than 30 responded.
Sakhalin and Chukotka were fully ready for the new heating season. In Dagestan, according to reports submitted by municipalities as of September 1, 2024, the average readiness of facilities for seasonal operation in the republic is 75%.
In Komi, 95% of the housing stock, 94% of boiler houses have been prepared for the heating season, 100% of heat networks have been tested, 85% of which have been replaced.
In the Transbaikal Territory, the level of technical readiness is at 80%.
"The heating season in the northern districts began back in early September, and heat began to flow to most districts on the 18th," the regional Ministry of Housing and Utilities, Energy, Digitalization and Communications said.
Almost in every subject recognized that the cause of accidents in the last heating season was the high wear and tear of infrastructure.
