A resident of St. Petersburg, who killed his lover and then hid her body in a barrel of acid, told about everything to his ex-wife in Telegram. This was reported by a source of Izvestia on September 22.
According to the source, the suspect maintains a close relationship with the ex-spouse because of the common child and once introduced her to the deceased.
It is specified that after the murder he recorded a video message in Telegram to his ex-wife, in which he confessed everything. Then began to threaten her with violence.
The incident itself occurred on September 21 in an apartment on Baltiyskaya Street in St. Petersburg. A woman appealed to law enforcement authorities with a statement that her ex-husband killed his cohabitant and placed the body in a plastic barrel, pouring acid. At the scene, investigators found a container with the remains of the woman's body in the attacker's car. A criminal case under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder") was opened.
Earlier, on the night of September 21, a cab driver in Omsk killed his wife, and then tried to escape from police officers in a working car. The attacker was detained. The motive of the crime is still unknown.
