Until the end of September, the weather in central Russia will be favorable, so we should expect Indian summer in October. Roman Vilfand, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, told about it on Saturday, September 21.
"Indian summer this year is already, God willing, in October will be, but, of course, in the October version, because now even the temperature drop is not accompanied by rain. Anticyclonal weather mode," Vilfand said in a conversation with "RIA Novosti".
According to him, in the last five days of September, small precipitation is predicted, but also not very cold weather - temperatures above +15 degrees Celsius. At the same time, Vilfand emphasized that Indian summer comes after inclement weather.
"So we will wait for a cooling with inclement weather, with precipitation, gusty wind, and only then we will enjoy Indian summer," - summarized the expert.
September 16, head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov said that residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will say goodbye to summer weather this week at the turn of September 19-20. In the capital region will come air masses formed over the north of Europe, and the temperature will drop.
