Russian Armed Forces hit energy facilities and infrastructure at a Ukrainian military airfield

The Russian Armed Forces (AF) have hit energy facilities that provide work for enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the AFU's live force in the special operation zone. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday, September 26.

"Energy facilities that provided the work of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, infrastructure of the military airfield, accumulations of the enemy's manpower and military equipment in 142 areas were hit," the report said.

In addition, the air defense forces shot down a Neptune long-range guided missile, three French-made Hammer guided bombs, five US-made HIMARS rockets and 45 aircraft-type drones, the ministry added.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry published a video of the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) drone assembly and storage workshops in the Zaporizhzhya region. There were up to 250 drones of different types at the facility.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
