Russian Armed Forces destroyed Motor Sich's workshops for production of AFU drones
The Russian Defense Ministry published on Thursday, September 26, footage of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) drone assembly and storage facilities in Zaporizhzhya Region.
The Russian army struck with the help of UMPK-500. The attack eliminated UAV assembly and storage shops at the engine-building enterprise of the aviation industry PJSC Motor Sich. There were up to 250 drones of various types at the facility.
The footage shows puffs of smoke rising above the facility after the strike.
On the same day, the Msta-S self-propelled guns (SAU) of the artillery of the grouping of troops "Vostok" inflicted a fire attack on the AFU strongholds in the South Donetsk direction. As a result, dugouts and armored vehicles in shelters were destroyed.
Before that, on September 25, it was reported that the "Vostok" group of troops thwarted the AFU's attempts to rotate and reinforce its positions. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces foiled the actions of an engineering group of Ukrainian militants in the area of Zagornoye.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
