The special military operation to protect the peaceful population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Units of the "North" group of troops in the Liptsy and Volchansk directions defeated formations of AFU brigades, marines and terodorone in the areas of Liptsy, Volchansk and Volchanskiye Khutors in Kharkiv region. They repulsed a counterattack by an assault group of the Kraken national formation. The AFU lost up to 65 servicemen, three vehicles and a 122 mm howitzer D-30.

The units of the "West" force group improved the tactical situation and defeated the living forces and equipment of the AFU brigades and theater defense forces in the areas of Kupyansk, Zagoruykivka, Kolesnikivka, Lozovaya, Novohorivka in the Kharkiv region, Makeyevka, Nevskyi in the LPR and Torskyi in the DNR. Four counterattacks by assault groups of AFU brigades and the National Guard were repulsed. The enemy's losses amounted to up to 420 servicemen, a Cossack armored vehicle, three pickup trucks, a 155 mm M198 howitzer, a 152 mm Acacia self-propelled artillery gun, a 152 mm D-20 gun, a 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery gun, a 122 mm D-30 howitzer and a 105 mm L-119 gun. Four field ammunition depots were destroyed.

Units of the "Southern" group of troops took more advantageous lines and positions and defeated the formations of the AFU brigades, the Ukrainian National Defense Forces and the "Lyut" assault brigade of the Ukrainian National Police in the areas of Kramatorsk, Seversk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Kalinina, Stupochka, Predtechino, Belaya Gora, Maximilianivka and Katerynivka in the DNR settlements of Kramatorsk, Seversk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Kalinina, Stupochka, Predtechino, Belaya Gora, Maximilianivka and Katerynivka. The enemy lost up to 810 soldiers, an armored personnel carrier, an armored combat vehicle, 15 vehicles, a 155 mm Krab self-propelled artillery unit, a 155 mm M777 howitzer, two 155 mm FH-70 howitzers, a 152 mm D-20 gun, two 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units, a 122 mm D-30 howitzer, two 105 mm guns: L-119 and M119. The following were destroyed: an electronic warfare station and four field ammunition depots.

Units of the Centre group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy defences and defeated the personnel and equipment of AFU brigades, the Ukrainian armed forces and the National Guard in the areas of Dzerzhynsk, Nelepovka, Rozovka, Krasnoarmeysk, Dimitrovka, Hrodovka, Ukrainsk, Gornyak and Kurakhovka of the Donetsk people's republic. They repulsed 10 counterattacks by assault groups of AFU brigades, the National Guard and the Omega special forces unit. The losses of the enemy armed formations amounted to up to 555 servicemen, an M113 armored personnel carrier, an armored vehicle, five pickup trucks, a 152 mm Msta-B howitzer, a 152 mm D-20 gun and three 122 mm D-30 howitzers.

Units of the Vostok force group improved their position along the front line and defeated formations of AFU brigades, teroporona and National Guard in the areas of Dobrovolya, Ugledar, Zolotoy Niva, Shakhterskoye, Rovnopol of the DNR and Temirovka in the Zaporizhzhya region. The counterattack was repulsed by an assault group of an AFU brigade. The enemy lost up to 130 servicemen, five vehicles and a 155 mm Krab self-propelled artillery unit.

The units of the Dnipro group of forces defeated the living forces and equipment of the AFU brigades, marines, and theater defense in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Nesteryanka in Zaporizhzhya region and the city of Zaporizhzhya, as well as Tokarevka in Kherson region and the city of Kherson. The losses of the AFU amounted to up to 50 servicemen, four vehicles, a 152 mm self-propelled Akatsiya artillery unit, a 152 mm Msta-B howitzer and a 152 mm D-20 gun. The "Anklav-N" electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot were destroyed.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 646 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 32187 unmanned aerial vehicles, 579 anti-aircraft missile systems, 18343 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1458 multiple rocket launchers, 15150 field artillery and mortars, 26436 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
