Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on September 24 on the words of US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired on May 20) would allegedly prefer a Democratic victory.

"We live our agenda. This is an issue for American voters. <...> But it is not the number one issue for us," he said.
