Infrastructure hit in AFU-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya region

A total of 314 infrastructure facilities have been hit in 10 localities in the part of Zaporizhzhya Region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Kiev-appointed head of the regional administration, Ivan Fyodorov, in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, September 24.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on this information.

Earlier this morning, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that on the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporizhzhya region, a team of FPV drone operators from the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Dnipro group of forces destroyed a temporary deployment point (TDP) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The TDC was located in an abandoned building that also housed satellite and radio communication systems.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
