Modernization of the Kuntsevo 95 gas regulator point was completed in the west of Moscow

Specialists have completed the modernization of a large gas regulator point "Kuntsevo 95" in the west of Moscow. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and improvement Pyotr Biryukov on Monday, September 23.

According to the official, the city is systematically working to upgrade gas regulator points responsible for reducing gas pressure to certain values and maintaining them within specified limits.

The gas-regulating station "Kuntsevo 95", located on Skolkovskoye highway, provides gas to the residential sector of Mozhaisky district and public utilities, according to the agency of city news "Moscow". It was put into operation in the twentieth century, the decision to modernize was made due to the long operation of gas equipment.

During the renovation, specialists installed a new cabinet gas regulator point. It has a high degree of reliability and reduced noise characteristics. The work was carried out in a short time, consumers were not disconnected from gas supply, notes "Moscow 24". All gas regulator points in Moscow have shut-off devices, and their operation parameters are constantly monitored from the central control room, RIAMO reports. Thus, specialists can manage the city's gas economy in real time.

On September 18, Biryukov said that specialists have started modernization of a large gas regulator point (GRP) "Michurinsky Prospekt" in Moscow. It will be replaced by an up-to-date cabinet-type GRP created on the basis of Russian components.
