A training center for airport employees will appear in Primorye Territory

On the basis of Artemovsk College of Service and Design in Primorsky Krai there will be a new direction "Transportation Service", where future airport employees will be trained. The agreement on its creation was signed by the Ministry of Vocational Education and Employment of Primorsky Krai, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Air Terminal and Vladivostok International Airport.

On the basis of the educational institution it is planned to build a modern educational and production center resembling the airport infrastructure. This will help students to master the features of their chosen profession almost in real conditions, and after training they will be sent for practical training at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk air terminal and Vladivostok airport.

Recruitment of the first group on the specialty "Transport Service" will take place in 2025, graduates of 9-11th grades will be accepted for training. It is expected that within five years the college will be able to train more than 500 specialists.

The educational direction will operate within the framework of the project "Regional Professionalism - 2025". A similar program is already operating in Krasnodar region on the basis of the airport holding Aerodynamika (formerly Basel Aero), it was founded by entrepreneur Oleg Deripaska, who laid the traditions of working with young people in the company. "Aerodynamika has already built a mini-airport in the college, last year 270 young people became students of the direction, this year - already 385.
