More than 1.8 million people visited parks in the Moscow region during the week
Over 1.8 million people visited the parks of the Moscow region over the past week. This was reported on Monday, September 23, by the press service of the regional Ministry of Public Works.
The most popular day of the week for visiting parks was Sunday, September 22. Time in the parks decided to spend 275 thousand people, for both weekends there were more than 500 thousand people, writes 360.ru.
The record-breaker in attendance for the week was Balashikha park "Pekhorka". Also in the top three were Tolstoy Park in Khimki and Central Park in Pushkino.
The attendance of the Governor's carousels amounted to more than 15.29 thousand people for seven days. In total, 194 parks of culture and recreation are open in the region, specifies RIAMO.
September 20 in the Ministry of culture and tourism of the Moscow region told about the results of the program "Summer in the Moscow region". The tourist flow to the region increased by 7% and reached 8.8 million. Over a thousand hotels and 89 glamping sites operated in the region during the summer, RT reports.
Also on September 20, the press service of the Tourism Committee of the capital with reference to the data of the Russpass tourist service reported that in September the Moscow Zoo, the Moscow Cable Car and the Moskvarium at VDNKh are the most popular among the residents and guests of Moscow, according to the Moscow City News Agency . People also actively searched the service for routes for fall promenades.
On September 19, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin told how the garden "Aquarium" near the Mossovet Theater was transformed after the improvement. In particular, specialists cleaned and put in order the historical fence and the gate to the garden, notes NSN.
Earlier in September, Sobyanin announced plans to renovate three more Moscow parks. At the moment the work is in full swing in Gorky Park, Sokolniki and Kolomensky. Izmailovsky Park, Kuzminki-Lublino and Fili are next in line.
