Vadim Samoilov spoke about his trips with concerts to Donbass
Russian servicemen should be helped in any way possible. Vadim Samoilov, rock musician, founder and leader of the Agata Kristi band, told about this and about concerts in the zone of special operation to protect Donbass at a creative meeting in the Izvestia MIC dedicated to his 60th birthday.
"You don't decide, you feel that way," he replied to a question about why he travels with concerts to Donbass.
He said such events are necessary for the military to unload them and help relieve stress.
"It is necessary to periodically return their human emotions. I believe that the artist, when he comes, should do just that," Samoilov added.
Earlier, in August, it became known that rock musician Oleg Abramov, known under the pseudonym RADIOTAPOK came to the location of Russian fighters in Kursk region to play them his songs. He played songs in the genre of heavy metal, but he had to take only an acoustic guitar to the front, which did not affect the quality of the performance.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
