There were 731 traffic accidents in Russia last weekend

Over the past weekend, 731 traffic accidents were recorded on Russian roads, in which 87 people were killed and 923 injured, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told Izvestia on September 23. 24 of the dead were pedestrians, 63 - drivers and passengers.

With the participation of buses on the roads of Russia 27 accidents were recorded, in which one person was killed, another 40 road users were injured. The cause of 10 accidents involving buses was the violation of traffic rules by their drivers.

Thus, in Rostov region the driver of a passenger car (less than two years of experience) at the intersection did not give advantage to a bus with 21 passengers. After the collision the bus caught fire. As a result of the accident, the driver of the passenger car and a passenger of the bus were killed. Four passengers of the bus were hospitalized, two more were sent for outpatient treatment. In Buryatia, the driver of an intercity bus with nine passengers in the cabin failed to cope with the control, went off the road and overturned. As a result of the accident three passengers were sent to hospital, the driver and six passengers were treated on the spot. In the Orenburg region, the driver of a school bus carrying 15 schoolchildren and two attendants collided with a truck traveling ahead of him. The children were not injured in the accident, and the bus driver was sent for outpatient treatment after medical assistance.

With the participation of minors 132 accidents were registered in which 158 young road users were injured, including 37 pedestrians, 75 passengers, 11 bicyclists and 27 drivers of motorized vehicles. Three children who were passengers in the vehicles died.

In the Amur region, a truck driver overtook a car and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a passenger car. The accident killed the woman driving the passenger car and two of her passengers, including her five-year-old son, who was in the back seat in a child restraint with a seat belt. The second two-year-old child, who was in the back seat in a child seat, was injured and hospitalized. In the Samara region at night, a 20-year-old driver who did not have a driver's license failed to control himself, drove off the road and overturned. As a result of the accident killed his 14-year-old passenger.

Earlier it became known that in Buryatia, September 21, five teenagers were injured in a road accident, one of whom sat behind the wheel of a Toyota Allion, without a driver's license, failed to manage and overturned.
