Wi-Fi in Russian airplanes may appear in 2027-2028
Wi-Fi access points may appear in Russian airplanes in 2027-2028. This was announced on Monday, September 23, by Aeroflot CEO Sergei Alexandrovsky at the plenary session of the Digital Transportation forum.
"Colleagues from the Ministry of Digitalization promised in 2027-2028. Certainly, we are waiting for it, we have signed a corresponding agreement, and passengers, I think, want it. Demanded service", - he pointed out with reference to the data of the Ministry.
Alexandrovsky also expressed his desire that this service would be free for every passenger of Russian airlines.
Earlier, on May 25, the head of the Russian Ministry of Digitization Maksut Shadaev said that the widespread introduction of unmanned cars on domestic roads may begin in 5 years. He cited Yandex robot couriers as a positive example of unmanned technologies.
