"Rosoboronexport" for the first time will present abroad a complex with barrage munitions "Lancet-E" at the international defense industry exhibition ADEX-24. This was announced by the company's general director Alexander Mikheev on September 23.
"At ADEX-2024, Rosoboronexport will show battle-tested most popular samples of modern weapons, among which for the first time outside Russia are demonstrated a complex with Lancet-E barrage munitions and the latest means of electronic countermeasures - unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)," he said in the company's Telegram channel.
The exhibition will be held from September 24 to 26 in Baku. It is reported that it will be attended by 12 Russian companies, which will present products for all types of armed forces, police and anti-terrorist units.
It is known that among the presented models will be a Su-35 fighter jet, Orlan-10E drone, T-90MS tank, Msta-S howitzer, Rubezh-ME missile system and other types of products.
On Thursday, September 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the creation of 48 scientific centers to design drones by 2030. The Russian leader emphasized that since this year the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" has been operating, among the priority areas of which is assistance in the development and production of components and materials for UAVs.
On the same day, the head of state announced a multiple increase in the production of in-demand weapons in Russia, and also pointed to the improvement of their characteristics. According to him, this was facilitated by the experience gained during the Special Military Operation (SMO).
