A car pickup company has been accused of defrauding customers
Customers of the company "Avtopodberu" complained about deception - their cars ordered from abroad were not delivered. The victims told Izvestia about it.
A Moscow company offering intermediary services was supposed to bring a car from Georgia, a resident of Ufa told the publication. The contract the victim concluded back in the fall of 2023. She bought the car for 1.3 million rubles, another 100 thousand spent on paperwork. However, so far the car has not been delivered.
"I turned to the managers of the company, and they offered me to sign an additional agreement on the return of money," she said. - Under the terms, the not yet delivered car was to be sold, and the refund amount was halved to 600 thousand rubles."
The woman went to court and won, but the money has not yet been returned. Now she, along with at least ten other victims, plans to go to the police.
