Gladkov reported a Ukrainian drone attack on the Belgorod town of Gubkin
The town of Gubkin in Belgorod Region was attacked by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), resulting in damage to houses and cars. This was reported by the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on September 23.
"As a result of the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), 10 passenger cars and glazing of six apartments in three apartment buildings were damaged," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The governor of Belgorod region said that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Information on the consequences is being clarified.
Earlier, on September 22, it was reported that the number of victims of the AFU attack on the village of Cheremoshnoye in Belgorod region increased to 12 people. Gladkov specified that seven of the 12 injured are in the hospital of Belgorod region, three people are operated by doctors.
On September 21, Gladkov said that the AFU struck the villages of Nikolayevka, Krasnye Zori and the town of Shebekino in Belgorod region. Two houses and a car were damaged.
Before that, on September 19, the governor said that two private houses burned down because of the AFU attack on Shebekino city district. In addition, the village of Petrovka in Belgorod district came under fire; windows in two private houses were blown out there, and shell shrapnel hit roofs and fences. A farm building burned down on one of the plots.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
