People in Krasnogorsk near Moscow carry flowers to the Crocus City Hall in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack that took place six months ago, on March 22, 2024.
People bring wreaths and bouquets to the memorial organized next to the building of the burned concert hall.
Earlier on Sunday, a memorial service for those killed in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow was held in the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Krasnogorsk. The service was attended by dozens of concerned believers who wanted to honor the memory of the terrorists' victims.
The terrorist attack in "Crocus City Hall" took place on March 22. Terrorists in camouflage stormed into the building, shooting and setting fire to the concert hall. The attack killed 145 people and injured 551.
The Investigative Committee (IC) opened a criminal case under Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Terrorist Act"). The Federal Security Service of Russia reported that after the terrorist act the attackers, having contacts on the Ukrainian side, were going to cross the border between Russia and Ukraine.
On June 1, it was reported that more than 1.7 thousand people were recognized as victims in the case of the terrorist attack in a concert hall near Moscow. On the same day, it became known that 20 defendants were charged in the case , 18 of whom were arrested, and two more are on a recognizance of not being released.
