Law enforcers in the Krasnoyarsk region are considering different versions of the departure of a family with four children, whose members ate dumplings and chicken for dinner. About it on Sunday, September 22, reported in the regional Prosecutor's office.
"At present, several versions of what happened are being considered, including poisoning by food purchased in the store, as well as the ingress of a life-threatening substance into the cooked food. As part of the investigation of the case, all necessary samples have been seized, expert studies have been appointed," the agency said in a statement in its Telegram channel.
It added that this family is not registered in the bodies of the system of prevention and positively characterized at the place of residence.
The prosecutor's office said that the verification measures continue to clarify all the circumstances of the poisoning, which killed three children. To coordinate the actions of law enforcement agencies, the district prosecutor traveled to the scene. He interviewed the adult victims.
In addition, Deputy Prosecutor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Evgeny Mostovoy traveled to the village where the family lived to be reported on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case of poisoning and the results of the prosecutor's inspection, which was held jointly with the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
The poisoning of a family with four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka in Krasnoyarsk Krai was reported on September 21. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later on September 22, a third child died. Adults and another child were hospitalized in serious condition.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 3 Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet the safety requirements of life or health of consumers, causing the death of two persons by negligence").
The State Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region said that the products, which are believed to have poisoned the family, were bought in one of the stores in the village, its owner was questioned and the products were seized. The agency said that the mother of the dead children is nine months pregnant.
According to Izvestiya's source, the family members may have mistakenly consumed pesticides, confusing them with seasoning.
