At least four people have died in a shooting in Alabama
At least four people were killed and dozens were injured in a mass shooting in one of the most popular entertainment districts of Birmingham, Alabama. This is reported on September 22 by the TV channel CNN with reference to the local police Department.
According to police, the shooting occurred the night before in the Five Points South neighborhood.
As noted, when officers arrived on the scene, they saw two men and a woman without signs of life with gunshot wounds . A fourth victim died at a local hospital, specified Birmingham Officer Truman Fitzgerald.
"We believe multiple shooters fired multiple shots at a group of people," Fitzgerald said. As of Sunday morning, no suspects were in custody, he added.
Earlier, on September 7, it was reported that in the US state of Kentucky near the highway I-75 at least five people were injured during a mass shooting. The shooter could not be apprehended, but the police have his name and a detailed description, he is being sought.
