Third child died in Krasnoyarsk region after chicken and dumplings poisoning
In the Krasnoyarsk region, the third child who poisoned himself after dinner with chicken and dumplings has died, confirmed in the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.
"Yes, another child has died," the agency said on September 22.
On the same day, the seller of the store where the products that caused the poisoning were bought, told Izvestia that the semi-finished products and chickens were withdrawn from the outlet.
"The products have been taken for examination, we can't answer anything on this issue yet. Chicken, weight dumplings, which they say they consumed - everything was taken by Rospotrebnadzor," - told the seller of the store, in which the family bought dumplings.
The day before it was reported that the members of the family, which was poisoned by store-bought chicken and dumplings, were taken by air ambulance to hospitals in Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk.
The poisoning became known on September 21. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. It was noted that the day before the family had dinner with chicken and dumplings bought in a local store. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the underage brother and sister died. In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage or sale of goods and products that do not meet the safety requirements of life or health of consumers, causing the death of two persons by negligence").
