Putin expressed confidence in continuing constructive work with Turkmenistan
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdymukhamedov on his birthday. This was reported by the TDH news agency on September 22.
"In Russia you are known as a consistent supporter of the development of relations of deep strategic partnership between our countries," Putin addressed Berdymukhamedov.
The Russian president expressed confidence in continuing constructive joint work on topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda for the benefit of the friendly peoples of the two countries, in the interests of ensuring security, stability and well-being in Central Asia and the Caspian region.
Putin wished Berdimuhamedov good health, happiness and success in state activity.
Earlier in December 2023, Putin said that relations between Russia and Turkmenistan in 2023 continued to develop in the spirit of deepened strategic partnership. Putin also emphasized that he expects the same fruitful cooperation in the future for the benefit of the friendly peoples of the two allied states. He also mentioned that he intends to work together with the Turkmen leader to improve security and stability in the Central Asian and Caspian regions.
