A drone attack by the AFU was repulsed in the Astrakhan region
A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been eliminated in the sky over the northern part of Astrakhan Region. This was reported by Governor Igor Babushkin on September 22.
"This morning the AFU again made an attempt to attack UAV objects on the territory of the northern part of the Astrakhan region," he wrote in Telegram-channel.
As the head of the region noted, the attack was repelled in a normal mode. There were no casualties.
Also on the night of September 22, the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev said that a drone was shot down in the sky over the Millerovsky district. The falling debris caused dry vegetation in the field to catch fire.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
