An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down in the sky over Rostov region. This was reported by Governor Vasily Golubev on September 22.
"At about 02:00 in the Millerovsky district a UAV was shot down. Due to the fall of debris in the field, dry vegetation caught fire," he wrote in Telegram-channel.
According to the head of the region, the duty rescue units went to the scene.
According to preliminary data, there are no destructions and victims.
In the early morning of September 21, it was reported that in the town of Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Territory, a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was recorded. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev indicated that two Ukrainian drones were suppressed by means of air defense (air defense) and electronic warfare (REB). The falling wreckage of one of these drones caused a fire that spread to explosive objects and they began to detonate.
Later, the head of the region said that a local emergency regime (emergency) was introduced in the Tikhoretsky district. According to the governor, the population is not threatened at the moment, but it takes time to conduct a full inspection of the territory.
