Motorist who abused two dogs in Mytishchi detained

A motorist who tied two dogs to his car and dragged them along the asphalt in Mytishchi, Moscow Region, has been detained. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk in her Telegram-channel on Saturday, September 21.

"The offender was detained by operatives of the MU MVD of Russia "Mytishchi" of the Moscow region", - specified in the message.

The intruder turned out to be a 50-year-old local resident.

Earlier, the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region reported that a criminal case was opened over the incident.

The incident became known on Saturday morning. In social networks there appeared a video taken in the SNT "Mosvodokanal-2", on which a car drives along the street, to the rear bumper of which two dogs are tied to the rear bumper, which the car drags on the ground. The Mytishchi administration told Izvestia that after the incident they filed a report on animal cruelty with the law enforcement authorities.
