At least 21 Palestinians were killed after an Israeli strike on a school used as a shelter. This was reported by AlJazeera TV company on Friday, September 21.

As noted, on this day, Israeli planes carried out an airstrike on the Al-Zeitoun school, which houses displaced people.

"The deaths of 21 people, including 13 children, six women and a three-month-old infant have been confirmed," the TV channel reports.

It is specified that 30 people were injured, including some with serious burns. Two are reported missing.

The TV channel also noted that the IDF mistreats the bodies of dead Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. According to locals, soldiers are using military bulldozers to lift and transport the bodies after the raid in Qabatiya.

The Gaza government press office described the bombing of Al-Zeitoun school in the eastern part of the city as a horrific massacre.

Earlier on September 20, two residential buildings collapsed after an Israeli strike on a Beirut suburb. A search and rescue operation is underway at the scene.

The day before, the IDF said that the Israeli military carried out a series of attacks on Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon. 100 launchers and facilities of the Shiite movement came under attack. Before this, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant indicated that the country is shifting forces to the northern front due to the start of a new phase of the war.

The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected Israel's territory to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip, as well as invaded border areas in the south of the country and took hostages. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
