Deputy Minister of Tourism and Crafts of Nizhny Novgorod region Galina Galkina died in a traffic accident. This was reported on September 21 by "Gazeta.Ru" with reference to the press service of the regional government.
In the Telegram-channel of the Prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod region specified that the accident occurred on September 20 on the highway "Povetluzhye" in Semyonovsky district. Two passenger cars collided on the road. After the accident, one of the cars caught fire. As a result of the accident, three people died at the scene, five more were injured. They were taken to the hospital.
According to the press service of the government of the region, Galkina is listed among the dead. It is specified that she was returning from a business trip from Yoshkar-Ola. The authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region expressed condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the accident.
On the same day, three people were killed in a traffic accident in the Astrakhan region. According to preliminary data, the driver of a foreign-made car failed to cope with control and hit a power line support.
