The head of a district in the Samara region was detained in a bribery case
Law enforcement authorities have detained the head of the Bezenchuksky municipal district of Samara region on suspicion of taking bribes. About it on September 21 reports the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) in the region.
"According to the investigation, in 2022, at the request of the suspect, employees of the organization carrying out construction work in accordance with the subcontractor agreement under the municipal contract concluded with the administration, carried out work on the arrangement of the perimeter of the perimeter of the residential building owned by the suspect," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
For construction works were attracted specialists, as well as the necessary equipment in the amount of about 180 thousand rubles.
In addition, in 2021, the head of the municipal district through an intermediary received a laptop worth about 90 thousand rubles from a representative of another organization as a bribe.
At the moment the suspect has been detained. A criminal case under part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe by extortion, through an intermediary, in a large amount") has been instituted. The issue of selecting a measure of restraint is being decided.
According to the administration of Bezenchuksky district, the position since 2018 is held by Vladimir Anikin.
Earlier, on September 5, former employees of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, reserve colonels Andrei Chekmazov and Dmitry Fomin, were accused of receiving a bribe in the amount of 7.7 million rubles. The investigation found that in 2016 and 2022, two state contracts for 1.5 billion rubles were concluded for development work for the needs of the department. The bribe from the third defendant, deputy general director of Oborontest JSC Alexander Sukharev, was intended for the absence of measures to detect violations.
