Russian Armed Forces hit a dry cargo ship with Western missiles supplied to the AFU

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a dry cargo ship with missiles and ammunition supplied to the Kiev regime by Western countries. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on September 21.

It is specified that the strike was carried out by operational-tactical aviation, drones, missile troops and artillery.

It also eliminated a depot of missile and artillery weapons and accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 153 areas.

"Air defense means shot down six Neptune long-range guided missiles, three Hammer guided aerial bombs made in France, 10 HIMARS rockets made in the United States and 177 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the Defense Ministry, a total of 26,300 units of Ukrainian automotive equipment have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation (SMO).

The day before, the Russian military destroyed a self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) "Gvozdika" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Ugledar direction with the help of an attack unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
