Traffic is temporarily stopped on a section of the M-9 "Baltia" road in the Tver region. This was reported on September 21 by the press service of the Federal Commission of Uprdor "Russia".

It is specified that the traffic was closed to ensure the safety of movement on the road.

"In order to ensure traffic safety on the highway M-9 "Baltia" Moscow - Volokolamsk - the border with the Republic of Latvia on the section km 322 - km 420, in the Tver region, from 06:40 hours 21.09.2024 until a special order will be temporarily stopped traffic", - stated on the website of the company.

In this regard, detour routes have been organized. If necessary to make a U-turn, drivers were recommended to use the U-turn loop at 322 km of M-9 "Baltia", Nelidovo. When heading towards Moscow, they were advised to take a detour through Velikie Luki towards Smolensk.
