Named 10 places in Russia where you can make a wish
There are many places in Russia, such as monuments, bridges, mysterious lakes, parks and rocks, where you can make a wish. Experts of Tutu.ru service shared10 of them with Izvestia on Saturday, September 21.
A highway bridge over the Volga River, Saratov Region
The bridge connecting Saratov and Engels is one of the main attractions of the Saratov region. It was opened in 1965 - and during the construction a feature film was shot, and the actors of the crowd were local residents. According to legends, the bridge is not just beautiful, but can also fulfill wishes: to do this, you need to drive a car over it and turn off the headlights for a few seconds (careful when driving!). Another option is to shout "Let's go!" on the bridge: cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin studied in Saratov at a technical school. One more way: do not go anywhere, but just look at the illuminated bridge from the shore and make a wish.
Seidozero, Murmansk region
Mysterious, frightening and mystical - this is all about the famous Seydozero, which is located in the Murmansk region. Shamans consider it a place of power, and travelers from the farthest corners of Russia are ready to go there for secrets and adventures.
Stanitsa Starocherkasskaya, Rostov region
Starocherkasskaya is called the capital of the Don Cossacks: many Cossack-related attractions have been preserved there. One of them is the Efremov palace. The Holy Gate leads to the farmstead - the legend says that if you pass under it, you can atone for your sins and fulfill your deepest desires.
Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, Krasnoyarsk Territory
The park is located on the north-western spurs of the Eastern Sayan, in close proximity to Krasnoyarsk. The rocks-pillars with funny names not only look unusual, but are said to be able to fulfill wishes and attract good luck - the main thing is to ask politely and not to anger the local spirits.
Bankovsky Bridge, St. Petersburg
Travelers who want to improve their financial situation rush to the famous griffin figures on the Bankovsky Bridge in St. Petersburg. It is believed that to become richer, you can simply walk across the bridge, albeit while carrying a bag of change and rattling it loudly. If you prefer to keep your money on a card, there is another option - touch the griffin's wing or rub its paw. You can also slip a piece of paper with a wish written on it under its paw.
Buddhist Datsans, Republic of Buryatia
If you are going to visit Baikal this fall, at least for a day visit one of the datsans, Buddhist monasteries-universities. The most famous and the main one is Ivolginsky datsan, where thousands of pilgrims flock. Even if you don't know much about Buddhism, it's okay: they say that in datsans you can find harmony, calm down, listen to your inner voice and understand your true desires.
Monument "Sobachkina Capital", Krasnodar Region
In the center of Krasnodar there is a monument "Sobachkina Capital". If you have a wish related to love and relationships, make it by rubbing the noses of the animal figures and it should come true as soon as possible.
Locations with chomlins, Kaliningrad region
On the central streets of Kaliningrad you can see funny little people - chomlins, which were invented by local resident Natalia Shevchenko and her husband. According to the idea, the little men are engaged in processing amber and, of course, do not mind to fulfill someone's wish. To do this, you need to gently rub the chomlin and leave an offering next to it: a candy or a coin.
Locations with angels, Tyumen region
In Kaliningrad, travelers hunt for chomlins, and in Tobolsk, a small town in the Tyumen region, - for angels. Only 11 figures meet the guests in the most popular locations, for example, in Yermak's garden. Scanning a QR code next to the sculpture, you will learn a little about the history of the city. And if you ask the angel for something important - he will try to fulfill it.
Svetelka Mountain, Samara Region
Looking at Svetelka for the first time, a traveler is unlikely to recognize it as a mysterious place of power: the mountain in the Samara region, although pretty, but not much different from many other elevations. But it fulfills wishes: they say that there used to be a watchtower there, which could be used for occult purposes. To make your wish come true, collect seven stones on the way to the mountain: throw four of them in different directions, and take three with you as a souvenir.
